I know I did when I first read the beginning of that sentence but then I thought differently after seeing the second part.
The strength of your body starts with your... hands, so 'grip strength' is not just important, it's tremendously important.
It affects most muscle groups you use and most exercises you do.
Think about that for a moment..
Without strong, capable hands (aka grip strength) how EFFECTIVE are you at lifting weights or doing just about anything you can think of around the house or work?
If your grip and forearm muscles are not conditioned with mobility, strength and endurance, then the result winds up being the frustrating chronic repetitive motion injuries that plague both office workers and athletes alike.
