Thank you for Your Service!

We are so very thankful for our amazing men and women who fight for our freedoms. Thank God for them all. They are what make the United States the greatest country in the world. Okay, I'm biased but I'm also American :-)

But this day is also full of grief for many. This day we remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. Their life.

I didn't serve. Many men in my family have, my college roommate was a Recon Marine in the first Gulf War and on this day I think of him and many others I know who put their lives on the line EVERY DAY for years fighting for our amazing country and the people in it.

All we can do as citizens is appreciate these fine men and women, look them in the eye and tell them how thankful we are for their service and give them a hug or handshake.

I just wanted to speak from my heart today as I reflect about the many who have lived and died for us, all that we have and what we are building for our children.

Happy Memorial Day to you, your loved ones and May God Bless the United States of America.
