Movements like this are prevalent with young kids playing and participating in sports but as we age, we begin to remove jumping exercises because they are considered too risky, too challenging and potentially hazardous to our health....
I'm not a fan of that kind of thinking. Listen to your body and make smart decisions for yourself.
