Back in January of 2003 I almost passed up an opportunity that I would later realize to be the turning point for my body, my career, and my life.
I was very hesitant and unsure about spending several hundred dollars (which, as a young guy with a part time job, seemed like thousands at the time) to hire a very well-known personal trainer -- someone who was a "real life" story turned fitness celebrity --to mentor me. Even though I'm a trainer I knew there was more to learn.

So, I decided to put up what was a lot of money for me at the time because I saw the VALUE. Value that far-outweighed the cost.
And that one decision has proven to be one of the most critical decisions I've ever made, and it completely changed my life.
You see, if I didn't make that decisive move, if I had listened to the naysayers, I wouldn't be anywhere close to where I am today.
In fact, I'd probably still be scrapping along trying to figure out what works just like 99% of the people you see in the gym.
Of course, no one looks back on a decision they DIDN'T make as the turning point for their body, their health, their life.
And unfortunately, those individuals will never know the other side of the story. The "what could have been."
