Build muscle... without moving a muscle?

Very little is known about how this man trained, but one source reports:

"Pandour apparently refused to do any training with heavy weights and concentrated on exercising with a pair of 10lb dumb-bells. He was also forever tensing and flexing his muscles."

The practice of building muscle by simply tensing your muscle is known as Isometrics.  And for a long time, Isometrics remained a long-lost secret:  You heard whispers about it, but nobody really understood how to make it work.
