AVOID These 3 Ab Training Mistakes

Published: Mon, 07/06/15

The WORST thing you can do in your current training routine
is to train your abs improperly. This will prevent you from ever
having the body you truly want.

Even worse… if you make any of these very common mistakes
you will be putting yourself at risk of injury during your
workouts.

AVOID these common ab-training mistakes and watch your
results skyrocket.

Mistake #1: Too Much Volume

Way too many people perform countless reps of pretty much
any type of ab exercise out there. Instead we should be
focusing on the strength aspect of core training.

By now we should all know that crunches and sit-ups are a
complete waste of time
. I don’t think it’s necessary for me to
beat the horse with that one.

The thing is… many people perform more reps when training
their core, compared to other muscle groups. Strength should
also be considered when training your core. You don’t train
strength by doing 500 reps of an exercise.

Here’s something else that is considered “too much volume for
core training”. Holding a plank longer than a minute. If you can
already hold a plank for a minute or even 30 seconds

(Assuming you have great form) then it’s time to move on.

Mistake #2: Drawing In Instead Of Bracing Your Abs

Here’s what I mean by that… too many people suck in their
stomach instead of pushing it out. Which is also known as
bracing.

Strength comes from bracing your abs, not sucking in your gut.

Try this… push a heavy object as hard as you can while sucking
in your gut. Now push that same object while you push your
stomach out and brace your abs. You will notice a huge
difference.

We need to perform exercises that reinforce the brace if we
ever want rock hard abs.

Mistake #3: Neglecting Other Muscles In Your Core

If all you’re doing is concentrating on the “burn” then sorry to
break it to you, but you won’t be getting Six-Pack Abs anytime
soon… especially if you have a belly.

Working your core as a whole will engage more muscle groups
in your midsection, causing you to target belly fat and sculpt a
Rock Solid Midsection.

Luckily for you, I’ve got a unique method to train your whole
core without performing a high amount of reps, while teaching
you how to BRACE your abs so that you can Target belly fat
and finally have the Six-Pack Abs you deserve.

The most effective way of doing this is by Training Like A
Fighter

Think about it… Fighters have to go through the process of
getting punched and kicked repeatedly to their midsection.

On top of that, they produce a tremendous amount of power in
their strikes and it all comes from the fascinating core strength
that fighters posses.

With all that considered, you better believe, fighters train their
abs differently than everyone else.
