Why I don't take steroids

when he was 16, you wouldn’t be here right now.
Rumor is, Arnold ripped his own umbilical cord out.
The genetically gifted can lift more. Multi time Mr.
Olympia champion Jay Cutler bench pressed 315lbs
the first time he walked into the gym.
Could you do that?
They don't get as sore. They stimulate protein
synthesis at a greater rate; they can train more frequently
and this ultimately is the key to faster muscle growth.
One of my favorite saying, “You are what you can
recover from” so, yeah, they have an unfair advantage.
For you to try to take their advice to get their results
is ridiculous. It’s like taking wealth-building advice
from a guy who inherited a fortune. Even though he
has the money, he doesn’t know how to go from
nothing to wealthy. His methods don’t apply to your
situation.
With that being said, there ARE a few exceptions.
For me to say that you can’t learn anything from any
bodybuilders using steroids would be ignorant and
hypocritical of me.
Not every juiced up bodybuilder is your enemy, but
most of them are because, frankly, they can do 99 things
wrong and 1 thing right and still make gains. A good
rule of thumb is to avoid bodybuilders with a grade 5
vocabulary and who can’t intellectually explain why
they do what they do. They are pretty easy to spot.
Finally, the longer you use steroids, the greater the
risks and the greater the chances that you’ll screw up
your health, go broke, get addicted, get caught, or all
of that. I would say that more than 98% of the people
following this newsletter are not signing up for that,
which is why I rarely ever discuss steroids, but if you’ve
been tempted to try them out, take what I just said
seriously.
Here’s my biggest issue with steroids: While your
gains come faster, they’re fleeting. A body built with
steroids doesn’t belong to you. It’s on loan. You’re
renting it for as long as you can keep up the façade.
As long as you can afford it. As long as your health
doesn’t take a dive. As long as the risks outweigh the
rewards. As long as your livelihood depends on it.
As soon as you stop taking the juice, they disappear.
You lose practically everything you gained, except a
pair of bitch tits to go with your flab… and a complex.
When you build muscle naturally, it’s not going away
unless you stop working out. Your gains are permanent.
Your body is yours. You built it. You own it.
Unless you want to be a pro bodybuilder there's no
reason to mess with illegal steroids.
