do you drink tap water?

Not sure if I told you but my family and I have been spending
the summer in New England visiting with family and friends.

That's the beauty of the Internet...you can work from anywhere.

While driving up from FL to MA I made a few pit stops to visit
some old friends from high school and college.

My friend Danielle and her husband Joel were showing me around
their new house and I really liked the fact that they had a reverse
osmosis filter installed for their kitchen sink.

They told me when they moved in they had it tested for toxins
and harmful chemicals and the results were scary.

The technician told them that if this water was in a public
swimming pool it would be shut down and unsafe to swim in.

The sad truth is, this wasn't just a rare case, it's actually pretty
common.  All kinds of chemicals get into our tap water.

One that is found in 60% of tap water is fluoride.

Researchers from both Harvard University's School of Public
Health and China Medical University in Shenyang, in a joint
meta-analysis of 27 studies, found there were "strong
indications" that fluoride exposure, particularly among
developing children, is highly problematic for proper
cognitive development and brain formation.

It also alters your thyroid which means you will not be able
to burn fat as efficiently as you need to. Not only that, but
it's known to be a neurtoxin, which INCREASES the
risk of cancer.

This is especially true for your children as they are still
developing their brains, bodies, and endocrine systems.

It's pretty messed up, I know.  Now it's not "healthy" to
drink water?  What's next....don't eat fruits and vegetables?

Yes you need to drink water, lots of it. Your body is made
of water.  Just be careful about drinking too much tap water.
Moderation is the key with everything.

We can't completely avoid all the toxic ingredients in our
food and water supply, but what we can do is be aware of
what we are putting in our bodies and limit the items that could
cause long term damage.

Here's a great follow up article by Anthony Alayon from Team

his mom got mysteriously sick a year ago.
