Our nurse pulled the plug out of the wall for the first

time in her career which signaled a "Code Blue".

 

The room filled with what seemed liked a dozen nurses
and doctors.  Our son Lincoln had his head sticking out
but both shoulders were stuck and he had the umbilical
cord in a knot!

 

There were nurses pushing on my wife Courtney's 

stomach and the doctor turned him just right to

set Lincoln free.

 

He was blue when he came out and it took a few seconds

for him to catch his breath and for the heartbeat

to resume as normal.

 

Thank the Lord Baby Lincoln Westerdal had arrived. 
He was born on March 20th, 2014 and weighed
9 lbs 11 oz!

 

 

Yes...but both my wife and I felt a sense of "calm"
during this potentially life threatening situation.

 

Just a few hours earlier we had been reading some

bible verses that my good friend Geoff Neupert had 

texted us, where God commanded us to have no Fear

and trust in him.

 

My mother-in-law was in the room and she almost fainted

while my wife and I had a feeling deep within us that everything

was going to be okay.

 

As you can see below...baby Lincoln is home safe and 

sound. He's actually almost 6-weeks old now and I can't

believe it's taken me this long to share this story with you.
