2 exercises that destroy your shoulders

Published: Thu, 05/01/14

Lets talk about the 2 exercises that destroy your shoulders
if done incorrectly.

When it comes to these exercises I see them all over the place,
the gym, in YouTube videos and online.

The mistakes are very common and it's only a matter of time
before they lead to shoulder pain and injury.

Which reminds me..I'm running a Baby Lincoln Diaper sale on
Fix My Shoulder Pain right now. Grab it for just 25 bucks.

Okay now on to the exercises....

#1 - Push-ups

A big mistake a lot people make when they do the push-up is
they flare out their elbows all the way to the side. That puts
lots of stress on the shoulder joint and collar bone which
will lead to irritation, injury and pain.

The Fix:

How to tweak the exercise is bring those elbows down so they're
both coming out at about 45 degrees or tight to your body.  When
bench pressing we refer to this as tucking.

This is less stressful on the shoulder joint and collar bone which
turns your push-up from a destroying exercise, into a good and
beneficial chest, triceps and shoulder exercise.

#2 - Dumbbell Row

Often times people have too much traction in their shoulder. At
the end of the row, if you let your shoulder drop, it will put too
much unnecessary stress on the shoulder and lead to injury and
then pain.

The Fix:

This fix is, when you're doing dumbbell rows you want to retract your
shoulder blade and keep the shoulder in nice and tight. You don't want
to drop the shoulder and hyper-extend it.

Been Doing These Wrong?

If you have, don't freak out.  The damage can be reversed.  Just use
be good to go in no time.

Just please don't ignore the pain or rely on pain-killers.  Do some
stretches and exercises that will help you enjoy your workouts
and keep you from limiting what you can do.

Keep training hard,
